Application Functionality and Data Collection<\/h3>\n

N\u00e4k\u00f6rata Research is a research version of the N\u00e4k\u00f6rata application, developed for lip-reading practice. The application collects usage data and task results on the device\u2019s internal storage for research purposes. These results are extracted directly from the device to the researchers at the end of the study, either via cable or Bluetooth connection.<\/p>\n

The application downloads videos from a server located in Finland. The service provider, \"Louhi Networks,\" may store the user\u2019s IP address during video downloads. Outloud cannot link IP addresses to individual users.<\/p>\n

The application does not contain advertisements or in-app purchases.<\/p>\n
