Luppakorva wants you to read aloud to it. Reading earns you rewards that delight Luppakorva too. The game has two levels, unlocked by reading, which offer the player small rewards.
The Luppakorva app contains a small virtual world where a virtual dog lives. At first, you can look after the dog by clearing up its mess and giving it a scratch.
You can only progress to the next levels by reading to the dog. Reading earns points. When you reach the required number of points, you are rewarded with more items for looking after the dog, allowing you to name it and give it food and water, among other things.
