Therapies
Speech and language therapy and occupational therapy are forms of medical rehabilitation. They aim to strengthen a person’s ability to function, participate and influence what happens in their own life. Rehabilitation helps people learn new skills, maintain existing skills or regain skills they have lost.

Speech and language therapy
Speech and language therapy aims to improve everyday functioning, communication and well-being. It treats and helps prevent difficulties with speech, language, communication and voice, as well as eating and swallowing.

Occupational therapy
Occupational therapy is a form of medical rehabilitation that strengthens a person’s ability to function and take an active part in a meaningful everyday life.
How can I access rehabilitation?
You can access therapy with funding from Kela or an insurance company, or with a service voucher from the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa. You can also pay for therapy yourself.
We offer therapy places as they become available, taking each client’s overall situation and location into account. Outloud has a contract with Kela to provide speech and language therapy and occupational therapy within its Central Insurance District.
Our clinic is in Hatanpää, Tampere. Assistance dogs are welcome. You can ask about our waiting list by phone or email.
