I have worked as a speech and language therapist for many years in both the municipal and private sectors. I am enthusiastic and put my heart into my work. I work with children and the people around them in the Tampere area, at the clinic, on home, nursery and school visits, and remotely when needed.
Clients: autistic people and people with intellectual disabilities, motor speech difficulties or developmental language disorder. In my work, I use pictures, key word signing, communication books and, to a limited extent, communication apps.
Training: I maintain my professional skills through regular training, including Hanen It Takes Two to Talk; OPT1 and Apraxia, PROMPT, Pecs, PRT, solution-focused neuropsychiatric coaching and professional supervision (STory).
