I am an enthusiastic speech and language therapist whose strength is connecting with children and young people in therapy. I work particularly with hearing impairments, difficulties speaking in certain situations (selective mutism), and challenges in speech and language development. I have provided intensive medical rehabilitation funded by Kela since 2016.
I am proficient in key word signing and use it extensively in my work. I also use other forms of augmentative and alternative communication, such as pictures, communication books and communication apps.
Most of my clients are in Tampere and neighbouring municipalities. Therapy can take place in the client’s home, nursery or school. I am not currently offering clinic appointments.
I provide speech and language therapy in Finnish and can also offer guidance in English to the people around the client.
