I qualified as an occupational therapist in 2005. I initially worked in primary healthcare with both adults and children, gaining experience mainly in occupational therapy assessments for children and providing short courses of therapy. I moved to the private sector in 2010 and have mainly provided intensive medical rehabilitation funded by Kela since then.
I qualified as a solution-focused neuropsychiatric coach in 2015. Although I have not provided coaching, I use the approaches I learnt in my work with clients. I have also completed SOS Feeding training and use its framework when working with clients who have feeding difficulties.
I mainly work with children and young people, and have particular experience of clients with neuropsychiatric characteristics. Languages: Finnish and English. Augmentative and alternative communication methods: pictures and basic key word signing. I provide therapy both at the clinic and in clients’ everyday environments, such as their homes, nurseries and schools.
