I am a children’s speech and language therapist who is encouraging, has a sense of humour and is willing to join in wholeheartedly.
My aim in therapy is to find motivating ways for the child to practise new skills at their own pace. I celebrate small and large successes, which become part of everyday life through collaboration with the people around the child. I use key word signing and communication aids, such as communication books and software, with confidence. The best parts of my work are continually learning new things and getting to know the individual circumstances of the child and their family.
I work as a speech and language therapist in specialist healthcare and the private sector. I enjoy working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), sensory impairments, multilingualism, and communication and interaction difficulties. Appointments mainly take place at the clinic.
