I have worked as an occupational therapist with children and young people for around twenty years. I have provided intensive medical rehabilitation funded by Kela since 2005. I have developed particular expertise in occupational therapy for children with intellectual and multiple disabilities, which is also a special area of interest for me. I have also trained as an emotional skills instructor for children and young people, and draw on this in all my work.
I provide occupational therapy in Finnish. Where needed, I use pictures, key word signing, and the child’s own communication book or communication app.
I work part-time at Outloud.
