Therapies
Speech therapy and occupational therapy are forms of healthcare based rehabilitation aimed at strengthening the client's functional capacity and increasing their opportunities to participate in and influence their own life events. Rehabilitation involves learning new skills, maintaining previously learned skills, or relearning lost skills.
How can I access rehabilitation?
You can access therapy with funding from Kela (the Social Insurance Institution of Finland), insurance companies, or through a service voucher from the Pirkanmaa welfare area. You can also come to therapy as a self-paying client.
Our client spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, taking into account the client's overall situation and location. Outloud has a procurement agreement for the provision of speech and occupational therapy services in the central insurance district of Kela.
Our reception facilities are located in Hatanpää, Tampere. Assistance dogs are welcome in our premises. You can inquire about our waiting list status by phone or email.
