Speech Therapy

Speech therapy can take place at the client's home, daycare, school, or in a clinic setting. At Outloud, our speech therapists work with clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Communication difficulties can manifest in various ways

Speech therapy is always tailored to the client's strengths and interests. Goals are set in collaboration with the client or the child’s parents and their immediate environment, ensuring they are realistically achievable. Once goals are achieved, new milestones are identified.

Clients seek speech therapy when

  • Their speech and language development is delayed or atypical.
  • They experience challenges in interaction or communication skills.
  • They struggle with reading, comprehension, or writing.
  • They have difficulties in speech comprehension or production.
  • They have a neurological condition affecting communication.
  • They stutter.
  • They have difficulty with eating or swallowing.
  • They have a disability that hinders communication, such as a hearing impairment.
  • They require communication aids or guidance in their usage.
